"Golden View" is a splendid dwelling located in a residential complex very close to the centre of Menaggio, offering breathtaking views. The apartment is equipped with two large, furnished outdoor living spaces that provide a 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding green mountains. One of these spaces features an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, stove, and sink, providing ample space for comfortable dining or lunching. It is partially covered and partially open-air. The second outdoor living space is a stunning, furnished terrace, perfect for sunbathing or enjoying an aperitif. The interior spaces are carefully furnished with attention to the smallest details. You will be surrounded by an atmosphere of prestige and beauty in an incredibly exclusive place, where you will experience an unforgettable stay.

This apartment can comfortably accommodate up to five people, making it suitable for a family or a group of friends. There are two double bedrooms – one of which features a large smart TV, and a single bedroom equipped with a television. There are three bathrooms – one with a shower and washing machine, and two with a bathtub. Another highlight of the apartment is the "Great Room", elegantly furnished with a Chesterfield sofa and armchairs, an electric fireplace, and a large smart TV. Both the "Great Room" and one of the bedrooms have convenient access to the terrace. There is a modern kitchen equipped with all appliances to make your stay comfortable.

Menaggio is a charming town located on the picturesque shores of Lake Como. One of the highlights of Menaggio is its stunning lakeside promenade, which offers panoramic views. The surrounding area offers a myriad of activities, from hiking and mountain biking in the nearby mountains to water sports such as sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding on the lake. Menaggio is also a gateway to exploring other towns and villages around Lake Como. You can easily take a ferry to visit Bellagio, Varenna, or Tremezzo, each offering its own distinct charm and attractions.

GETTING AROUND
From the centre of Menaggio, the property is reachable by car in one minute and on foot in two or three minutes. For those arriving by ferry, the Menaggio pier is only a 5-7 minute walk from the property or a few minutes by car or taxi. It takes about 10 minutes by ferry to/from Bellagio and approximately 20 minutes by ferry to/from Varenna. Hence, the property is located in a very convenient and strategic location.
ASF Autolinee bus line C10 connects Menaggio to Como and other towns.
From the pier, a local ferry service will take you to Como, Bellagio, Varenna, and other lakeside towns. Please note – if travelling in high season, we advise you to be patient with long waiting lines at the ticket office. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website. The mid-lake ferry also transports cars.
From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago, there is a train connection to Milano Cadorna.
The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.

TIPS
>We advise you to take a day to visit the marvellous little towns around the lake. The little towns are gems with glorious lakeside villas.
>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.
>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!
>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is an easy-to-follow trail that doesn't require too much walking uphill. It connects the little towns from Colonno to Griante. A bus will take you from Menaggio to the starting point in Colonno.
>Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes.
>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.
>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. There is a beach (“lido”) in Menaggio. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.
Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel farther and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches.
>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!
