La Corte delle RondiniApartment - Via Giovio, 33 - Como
– Milton Berle
A beautiful one-bedroom loft with unique details of interior design. La Corte Delle Rondini (The Swallows' Courtyard) is a truly exceptional apartment in the heart of the city of Como.
The name of the beautiful house comes from the spacious outside yard, where swallows come to make their nests every spring.
This one-bedroom loft is decorated with extreme attention to detail, with several objects coming from all over the world, each carefully placed in harmony with the contemporary design of the space.
A fully equipped kitchen, two large and cozy sofas in the living room for 2 extra guests, and a comfortable double bedroom: these are all for our guests to feel perfectly at home. The exposed wooden beams and the high ceilings give a great feeling of warmth, and the many windows fill the airy living area with sunlight.
The apartment sleeps up to four people, and there is plenty of room for a baby crib if needed.
There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and a shower, and another smaller one.
A special feature of the Corte delle Rondini is the Temporary Shop: a special area of the house where a selection of unique interior decoration ideas are on display.
Pillows, design glasses, ceramics, textiles and other interior design elements carefully selected by our Interior Designers are available for our guests to browse through and shop.

>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.
>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!
>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is a wonderful, easy-to-follow trail that connects the lakeside towns from Colonno to Griante and doesn't require too much walking uphill. >Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes.
>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.
>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. In Como city, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is not recommended and is mostly forbidden. There are beaches in other lakeside towns.
Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.
>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!
There are so many great things to do around Lake Como! We can suggest and help you to arrange the following:
>Private boat rides
>Kayaks/SUPs in the lake
>Flights in a seaplane above the lake
>Yoga and meditation classes
>Hiking and foraging
>Trekking in the mountains
>Guided tours to Milan
